Happy Place

Where is your happy place? I was recently showing a friend a slideshow of images of nature for her feedback. These images were of boats in mostly Asian settings, she did not find them soothing and talked instead about a particular creek she used to visit as a child. Visiting this creek with her children or remembering this place brings her a feeling of calm - it is her happy place.

Working on this idea of using images to help settle the mind, as a substitute to the not always practical solution of actually spending time in nature, has made me re-appreciate the diverse aesthetic tastes of people. Of course I have a menu of options as a solution to this, which can be added to over time. But I have to start somewhere, so I am starting with trees, those fabulous living beings that enable us to breathe.

Please take a deep breath and press play, then leave a comment or suggestion. Thanks
